- 1 Pap Smear for women every 3 years.

- Height, Weight, Head circumference, Health and Milestone Tracking.

Preventative Care Benefits
- Female Contraceptives: R2412 per beneficiary per year
- 1 Mammogram every 2 years for women 40 years and older.
- 1 Pap Smear for females 18 years and older every 24 months.
- 1 HPV vaccination for females between the ages of 9 and 26.
- 1 Nutritional assessment per family per year
- Baby growth assessments as contracted pharmacy clinic per beneficiary per year for babies between the ages of 0 to 24 months.
- Fitness assessment as contracted by BASA Biokineticist per beneficiary per year for children older than 13 years.

Wellness and Preventative Benefits
- Women up to 50 years of age receive R1330 per family per year for contraceptives – must use a designated service provider for pharmacy-dispensed contraceptives.
- 1 Mammogram every 2 years for women over the age of 40 years.
- 1 Pap Smear every 3 years for women between the ages of 21 and 65.
- 1 HIV test per beneficiary per year
- 1 Wellness Screening per beneficiary which includes Blood Pressure, Glucose, Cholesterol, BMI and Waist-to-hip ratio.
- Hearing Screening for newborns(in or out of hospital)
- Congenital hypothyroidism screening for infants under 1-month-old
- 1 GP consultation per child between the ages of 2 and 12 years old.

Screening and preventative Benefits Women’s Health:
- 1 Mammogram, requested by a medical doctor per 2-year cycle for women between the years of 40 and 75 years.
- 1 Pap Smear, requested by a medical doctor per 3-year cycle for women over the age of 21 years.
- Contraceptives: Oral/injectable/implantable contraceptives for women up to 50 years of age – R140 per beneficiary per month for 60 months, up to R1550 per year; Intra-uterine device every 60 months – R2050 per beneficiary.
- 1 Combo Test: Blood Glucose, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol and BMI, HIV testing, counseling and support.
- 2 HPV Vaccinations for girls between the ages of 10 to 14 or 3 for girls between the ages of 15 and 26 years.
- Babies under 2 years receive 2 additional visits to a GP, pediatrician, or ear, nose and throat specialist; standard child immunisations for children up to 7 years at network pharmacy clinics.
